Course Description
"Online Promotion and Marketing" is set to kick off Wednesday 7/11/07.  Our instructor, Jay Moonah, will be conducting three real time webinars: Your Web Presence: Dos and Don'ts, Online Digital and CD Sales, Social Media and Virtual Worlds. Concurrently, registrants will be posting to the Bootstrap Music Series teaching Blog, monitored by the instructor.  Participants will be able to ask questions, post comments, and receive feedback.  

 

In this course, participants can expect:

• A review of best and worst practices for artist websites, mysave and Sonicbids
• An overview of getting into iTunes and other digital distribution channels, also sales of CEDs through CD Baby and other services
• A look at channels that go beyond the traditional web model: social networks, podcasting, recommendation engines, Second Life, and more
